Ballistic Plates

Hard armor bulletproof plates are ballistic inserts that are made to stop a higher level of threats. Ballistic plates generally start at NIJ Level III and go up to NIJ Level IV. Pricing is dependent on several factors such as the weight of a single plate, or if it must be used in conjunction with (ICW) soft armor to attain a higher level of protection. For example, very light hard armor allows for greater maneuverability for the end user.

Another factor in price is the shape of the plates. Single curve plates are the standard while multi-curve plates are sought out as a more ergonomic solution.

We are also glad to offer a recent innovation: flexible hard armor plates. This type of equipment makes wearing of body armor much more comfortable for the user. This in turn allows for much more maneuverability and makes the end user more likely to wear their equipment.
